Film review: Work   Director: Aneil Karia Produced by: Scott O'Donnell   Work a captivating short film which made me feel tense, uncomfortable, and emotional. From the start, I could feel that something wasn’t right, even though nothing big was happening yet. It didn’t waste time ,it pulled me in straight away with its quiet but powerful tension. The film is about how someone can look calm on the outside but fighting battles on the inside. The central message is based on pressure, racism, and how it builds up until someone can’t take it anymore. There was no major twists in the film but due to the way things unfolded at the end felt real and surprising. The characters, especially the main girl, felt real and easy to connect with.
